Product Terms

By using our API Products and Services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our policies and practices.

General

The following terms apply to all APIs unless otherwise stated in their individual sections.

  1. Data Usage Restrictions: Data retrieved from the API can be used to create derivative works such as map images or printed maps for immediate and direct purposes such as displaying in a newspaper. However, the sale, distribution, or reuse of these standalone maps or images for commercial purposes, separate from their original context, is strictly prohibited. Data should not be stored, cached, or held in any form beyond the initial use for the creation of these derivative works. This restriction ensures the proprietary nature of our API data is respected and prevents unauthorized commercialization..
  2. Data Privacy: User data collected, processed, or transmitted through the APIs should comply with our company's privacy policy, as well as all applicable local, national, and international privacy laws and regulations.
  3. Rate Limiting: To maintain the quality of our services, usage of the APIs are subject to rate limiting. Any attempt to circumvent these limitations may result in suspension or termination of access to the Search API.
  4. Data Integrity: It is the responsibility of the developers using our APIs to ensure the integrity of the data transmitted. Any manipulation of data that violates our integrity standards may result in access restriction or termination.
  5. Third-Party Regulations: Users and developers of the APIs are required to prohibit third parties with whom they interact from storing, caching, or using data obtained through the API for any unauthorized purposes, including but not limited to the development, testing, or improvement of other products or databases.
  6. Policy Violations: Violations of this policy can result in temporary or permanent suspension of access to our Services. In cases of severe or repeat violations, we may take additional actions, including legal action.

Search API

  1. User-Initiated Activity: All calls to the Search API should be initiated by explicit user activity. This includes, but is not limited to, clicks, taps, keypresses, voice commands, and gestures.
  2. No Storage or Caching of Data: Data retrieved through the Search API must not be stored, cached, or in any way held for use beyond the immediate need of the user-initiated request. This data should not be used to develop, test, or improve other products or databases.

Maps API

  1. Restricted Storage or Caching of Data: Data retrieved through the Map API may not be stored or cached beyond our General Data Usage restrictions, except on end-user devices for the sole purpose of offline mode. However, this data must not be held beyond a maximum period of 30 days.

Refund Policy

Slpy is committed to offering you robust, effective, and efficient mapping and search solutions for your needs. However, we understand that there may be times when our service does not live up to your expectations due to unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, we've designed our refund policy with you in mind.

1. Refund Eligibility:

Refunds are eligible under the following conditions:

  • You have been charged greater than $10 for Slpy credits that were exclusively used for services that were in error or malfunctioning. This means services were not working as described in our documentation and led to unsuccessful operations.
  • The error or malfunction must be reported to our technical support team within the current billing cycle in which it occurred. Refunds will only cover credits charged during the same billing cycle.
  • These errors or malfunctions are acknowledged and confirmed by our technical support team after proper investigation.

Please note that Slpy's policy does not consider a refund for:

  • Credits that have been consumed for successful API operations.
  • Issues arising from the misuse of the API, non-compliance with Slpy's documentation and guidelines, or errors in your application or platform.
  • Situations beyond Slpy's control, such as natural disasters, internet outages, etc., that may affect service availability.
  • The cancellation of your Pro plan subscription, as all Pro plan charges are non-refundable and are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
2. Requesting a Refund:

To request a refund, you should contact our customer support team via the Accounts and Billing Forum with:

  • The detailed description of the service error
  • The time period during which the error occurred
  • The number of credits charged during this period

The support team will investigate the issue and respond within 5-7 business days. If your claim is validated, we will initiate a refund process.

3. Refund Process:

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Slpy will refund the equivalent amount of the credits affected during the service malfunction. The refund will be issued to your original payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Please allow 7-14 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. This period may vary based on your payment provider's policies.
4. Modifications to the Refund Policy:

Slpy reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version on our website. Please check the website regularly to view the then-current refund policy.

We only provide services and information. All Credit Card information is stored by our Payment Processor.
We use regular Malware Scanning.
